In the years of 1930s to 1940s Chevrolet Cars saw an unprecedented growth in their business. There was the introduction of the first front suspension and this was one of the reasons why Chevrolet Cars raced ahead of its competitors.

Down the years Chevrolet Cars have come up with several different versions and models that have all become equally popular. The Corvette that was introduced in the year 1953 was the very first vehicle to be produced with a fiberglass body to it. Then there was the Vega and the Chevette in the 1970s which were equally successful. Along came the Mustang, the compact Nova, the air-cooled Corvair, the sporty Camaro. Then with the economy turn down and more compact cars being preferred by buyers cam th3e smaller and more compact version of the downsized models in the shape of Caprice and Malibu. In the year 1980 the company rolled out its Cavalier in order to fight the foreign makes entering the market.

Then, there were the trucks and SUVs that were rolled out later on and they too became equally popular brands on the road.

The 1990s and 2000s saw the rise in the performance of the company. The Corvette the ZR -1 and the Z06 models did really well and then the refurbished Impala SS brought get laurels to Chevrolet Cars.
