Mini Cars are the most recognizable of all cars around

When you have Mini Cars with you, you know for sure that they are bound to be the most recognizable ones on the road.

These Mini Cars as they are rightly called are the most compact and small cars to be found with the perky good looks that comes along with them. They are British cars and have been the rage in the US markets and the other international countries as well.

They were discontinued for a while but gained prominence and were reintroduced in the year 2002. This was with the help from the car maker BMW. The newly launched version of the Mini Cars is an athletic looking car with the best of chassis that comes from the reengineering done by BMW and the spacious interiors. The Mini Cars come along with the interiors and one of the best of features in it.

The first of the Mini Cars was launched in the year 1961. This was the car with a 34 horsepower and it was the best car for urban roads. This is the exact feature that made it so very popular in European markets.

In the year 1961, John Cooper designed the Mini Cars in order to help them deliver a far better output. The addition of power to the Mini Cars along with the tweaking of the suspension brought about an excellent driving experience for all concerned. This was the exact reason why Mini Cars were able to win for four years one after another at the Monte Carlo races. The Mini Cars was launched in the American market in the year 1962.

The 1960s were the best decade for Mini Cars as it saw a great deal of sales happening and newer models of the car being launched. There was the Mini Pickup and the Mini Moke. The Mini Moke was quite an innovative car as it was a cross between a Mini car and a jeep.

The Mini Cars have always been popular as they have been associated with the miniskirt and also was seen in a movie in the year 1969.

The end of 1960s saw the Mini Cars crossing the 2 million motorcars mark and this was quite an achievement of a feat for it. However, the introduction of really stringent emission regulations in the year 1968 had the Mini Cars pulling out of it. In spite of that they continued to be sold in the European markets. Throughout the 70s and the 80s the sale of Mini Cars gradually kept on increasing. Then, by the end of the 1980s the Mini Cars reached the 5 million car sales output.

The year 2002 saw the resurrection of the Mini Cars to American soil. This was after modernizing the car in all its entity. It had an entry level front drive and a hatchback. It also had the best of suspension, steering and brakes to boot as well.

The Cooper from the Mini Cars is their best seller.
